Real Estate Courses
If you are considering a career in real estate, look no further! The Greater Gateway Association of REALTORS® offers salesperson pre-license and broker courses. To register for these courses, please download the appropriate application below, complete the form, and return it to GGAR via fax or postal mail.
Broker Courses
To meet the requirements for obtaining your broker license, you must be an attorney at law or successfully complete the 45-hour Basic Transactions salesperson course, plus complete 75 additional hours in approved broker courses.
Real Estate Pre-License Course
In addition to completing the 45-hour Real Estate Transactions course, salespersons are required to meet the following conditions:
- Be at least 21 years of age
- Be sponsored by a licensed broker
- Pass the state licensing exam
- Be a high school graduate or equivalent (G.E.D.)
There are some exceptions to the requirements. Please check the Candidate Handbook for Real Estate located at www.goamp.com.
Real Estate Pre-License Home Study Course

All REALTORS must complete these 2.5 hours of training by December 31, 2008 to fulfill specific criteria and meet the learning objectives for the second quadrennial training cycle through the National Association of REALTORS.
